- 1、Fill in the immigration card
After getting the immigration card on the plane, please fill in the necessary items. If you have abnormal physical condition, please go to the health consultation room of the airport with the quarantine officer. The immigration card can also be picked up at the immigration quarantine counter at the airport.
How to fill out the Japanese immigration card?
The card is divided into two parts. The right side is submitted when the country is reviewed. The left side is submitted when going abroad for review. Therefore, don't lose and fold after entering the country, and keep it with your passport.
- 2、Immigration review
After completing the immigration card, prepare for immigration review. The immigration review passage is divided into two types: the Japanese entry passage and the foreign-only passage. Please select the passage to go through the immigration procedures according to the actual situation. Now that Japan has entered the new immigration review system, it needs to take pictures and leave fingerprints.
- 3、Baggage claim
The baggage hall has a huge electronic screen with detailed flight arrivals, baggage claim desk numbers and more. Please pick up your baggage according to your flight number and your baggage deposit voucher.
- 4、Customs inspection
After collecting the baggage, you will finally pass the Japanese Customs. Customs are divided into red and green passages. If you do not carry the items that need to pay taxes, take the green passage. If you carry the items that need to pay taxes or items that cannot be determined, please take the red passage.
→Japan exit formalities:
Japanese customs allow each person to carry 2 suitcases up to 23 kg (92 kg in total). Do not put cosmetics in your carry-on bag, and valuable products such as electronic equipment are recommended to carry with you. When some Japanese goods are packed, there will be seals that are forbidden to be taken apart. Both Japanese and Chinese customs will randomly check such goods. For tourists who do not often travel to and out of Japan, the probability of being spot-checked is not large, but it is recommended to keep the packaging intact and then repack the product after returning to the civil airport.
