City view of Amman
Day 2 Amman - Mt. Nebo - Petra
Mt. Nebo, Dear Sea, Crusader castle of Kerak,
Hotel: In Petra
This morning, travel by minibus to Mt Nebo (approximately 1.5 hours). Mt Nebo is the place where the prophet Moses is supposedly buried and is said to have seen the 'Promised Land'. Explore this sanctuary, checking out the remarkable mosaics inside its fourth-century church. On a clear day, the views over the Dead Sea to Israel and the Palestinian Territories are spectacular. Afterwards, take a 30-minute drive to the super salty Dead Sea. Technically sitting below sea level, it’s perfect for swimming and floating in, and the mud on the sea floor is said to have healing properties – so lather up! Continue on to the crusader castle of Kerak, sitting in a commanding position on top of a cliff overlooking Kerak town and the valley below. Spend time exploring the seven-level fortress and learn the legends of 12th-century battles between Crusaders and Muslim armies.
Continue on to Petra for the night (approximately 4.5 hours).
Day 3 Petra
Petra - the Rose of City, the Siq
Hotel: In Petra
The jewel of Jordan, the lost city of the biblical Nabateans, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World – Petra is a magical hand-carved wonder. Today, you’ll have the chance to discover this sixth century BC masterpiece with your small group. Be dwarfed by the towering rock formations as you squeeze through a narrow path called the Siq until you reach the grand entrance of the iconic Treasury. Gaze up at the intricate carvings and details, and spend the afternoon exploring the site at your own pace. There’s the old Roman road, other temples and old tombs, as well as the rock-hewn amphitheatre to explore. For those feeling more adventurous, take a challenging hike up a set of stairs to the smaller but no less impressive monastery, taking approximately one hour.
After arriving back at your accommodation, why not find a traditional bathhouse to rejuvenate after a day of incredible sightseeing.
Day 4 Petra - Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum, 4WD jeep safari
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Hotel: In Desert Tent of Wadi Rum
Follow in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia with a short drive to the extraordinary desert scenery of Wadi Rum – a rugged lunar-like landscape framed by huge sandstone mountains (approximately 2 hours). Head on a half-day jeep safari, taking you through some sublime scenery and uncovering traces of ancient civilisations seen in the many carved inscriptions found throughout the area, from pictographs to Thamudic, Nabataean and Arabic texts. The most enduring monuments in Wadi Rum are those carved by nature – natural rock bridges, towering rose-coloured sand dunes and scattered rocky peaks.
Spend the night sleeping in a simple desert camp, with the choice of sleeping under a camel hair tent or out under the starry night sky. Enjoy a delicious dinner cooked in an earthen oven by your desert dwelling Bedouin hosts, and soak in your truly unforgettable surroundings.
Day 5 Wadi Rum - Aqaba - Nuweiba
Drive to Aqaba port, Ferry bound for Nuweiba of Eygpt
Hotel: In Nuweiba
This morning, leave Wadi Rum and make tracks for Aqaba (approximately 1 hour). You’ll have some free time in Aqaba today, and have the option of day-use rooms to freshen up and store your luggage. Early in the evening, bid your Jordan local guide farewell and transfer to Aqaba port to board a comfortable air-conditioned ferry bound for Nuweiba. Depending on timing, weather conditions and delays, this journey over the Gulf of Aqaba can take between 2.5 and 5 hours, so be sure to have a good book or device with you to kill the time. On arrival, meet your Egyptian guide and transfer to your accommodation for a well-earned rest.
The ferry can be rough at times and those who suffer from sea sickness may want to prepare themselves. The journey can take from 2.5 hours to in excess of 5 hours which means that arrival into Nuweiba can often be after midnight. Your Egyptian Tour Leader will be waiting for you regardless of delays. In rough weather, there's a chance the ferry might be cancelled altogether, in which case we'll travel overland through Israel.
Day 6 Nuweiba - Dahab
Drive to Dahab, Free day
Hotel: In Dahab
It's a short drive to the laidback resort area of Dahab – your base for the next two nights. Dahab, meaning 'gold' in Arabic, has gone from a Bedouin fishing village to a popular tourist town, thanks to the excellent conditions for activities like diving, windsurfing and rock climbing. However, the town hasn't lost its authenticity and lowkey appeal that’s attracted visitors since the 1970s. The rest of the day is free for you to take in the many treats this spot has to offer – cafes, seafood or some snorkelling in the Red Sea. Dahab is well known for its drop-offs – spectacular coral reef shelves that plunge into the vast blue depths of the ocean below. There are also plenty of relaxed bars and restaurants to sit back and enjoy good local food and some sheesha.
Day 7 Dahab
Snorkelling at Blue Hole
Hotel: In Dahab
In the morning, why not strap on a mask and head to the Blue Hole for some snorkelling at one of the best diving spots in the world. The area gets its name from a submarine sinkhole about 94 metres deep, with an arch in the coral reef down at 54 metres – a challenge that’s only open to highly experienced technical divers. Snorkellers can enjoy one of the greatest spots in the Red Sea here. Float on the surface and look down into an endless world of blue, then make your way around to ‘the Bridge’, where the visibility is always great and the untouched coral swarms with all different types of colourful fish and marine life.
After you’ve had your fill of snorkelling, return to Dahab for an evening feast at a waterside restaurant, or perhaps head inland to Assalah, where local joints serve up plates of roast chicken and falafel with some cold regional beer.
Dahab Blue Hole
Day 8 Dahab - Cairo by flight
Fly to Cario, upon arrival, be transfered to hotel for check in, free at leisure
Hotel: In Cairo
Today you’ll be able to experience the contrast between seaside Dahab and the wonderfully chaotic, always colourful capital city of Cairo. Transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport and take the short flight to Cairo (approximately 1 hour). On arrival, transfer to your hotel for the night. Cairo is one of the great cities of antiquity and its history can be embodied by two of its imposing landmarks – the Pyramids of Giza and the Mosque of Mohammed Ali.
Tonight, why not join your new travel mates for a celebratory dinner in the city – your local guide will know of some delicious places to eat.
Pyramids of Egypt
Day 9 Cairo
the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, Egyptian Museum,
Hotel: In Cairo
This morning after breakfast you’ll see some of the world’s most iconic sights – the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Explore these structures that have stood tall for over 4500 years, and for an additional charge, you may be able to go inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu, although occasionally it’s closed to visitors. Afterwards, your adventure continues to the Egyptian Museum, home to one of the world's great collections of ancient artefacts. Wander the treasure-filled halls, and make sure to check out the optional Mummies Hall for a close encounter with some of the country’s most important queens and pharaohs. The masses of gleaming artefacts recovered from the tomb of Tutankhamun are an impressive sight – from jewellery to the famous golden death mask and his gilded sarcophagi, this pharaoh was certainly prepared for the afterlife.

The trip is divided into two very different weeks. During my stay in Egypt, I was always accompanied by my guide and driver, who ensured I had a great time visiting the different sites while learning a lot about Egyptian history. I was also supported during the check-in at the different airports. All the staff is reliable, friendly and they are very client-oriented. The hotels were fantastic. Unfortunately, the Nile cruise was rather old but clean. During the second week in Jordan, I was accompanied by my driver, Moayad. I had a guide only in Jerash and Petra which were ok. Moayad was friendly, accommodating, and caring and he ensured we reached all the sites safely and on time. He was also explaining things along the way. I highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers.

This trip was phenomenal! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Egypt. I took this trip with my sister and her family, including young children. Our tour guide, Ali, was very accommodating and really made ancient Egypt come to life with his knowledge of the history and awareness of our age and interest levels. The Nile cruise, camel rides, pyramids, sphinx, Alexandria, ... all of it, the entire trip was amazing! Everything was arranged and went smoothly. I look forward to another trip to Egypt and will definitely book through Top Asia Tour!

My trip to Egypt was amazing. I met so many amazing people and the Top Asia Tour team took great care of us. Everyone was so much fun to be around. My favorite place to visit in Egypt was Nefertari's tomb. It was just stunning! I never expected to see something like that. The beautiful intense colors, it really was great there. The whole trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I will never forget it. I have learned so much on this Egypt tour. I have been interested in Egypt my whole life and our guide was able to tell us things I have never heard before. He was very engaged and passionate. It was very exciting to see this passion. The service was fantastic, and all the food in Egypt was delicious. The Four Seasons hotel in Cairo was amazing, my room was gorgeous. I enjoyed every second of this Egypt vacation. Come to Egypt with Inside Egypt. It is a wonderful country, and you will have an amazing time! Don't be afraid to come. I never felt unsafe there. Come and see everything you can.

TopAsiaTour arranged an excellent 12-day tour of Turkey and Egypt for me at very short notice. Customer service was excellent and all arrangements ran quite smoothly. I would highly recommend his services. I will also be grateful that he encouraged me to keep a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia on my itinerary when I was thinking of canceling. It was a wonderful experience that I absolutely loved.
This entire trip was such a memorable experience that crossed off so many items on my bucket list. It overshadowed any of the negatives. I will treasure this trip always. Importantly, I felt very well looked after as a solo female traveling across two continents. I highly recommend this tour and will be using TAT again.

This was an amazing trip . We felt we got a lot of value for the price. Some of the hotels were iffy though. I got hurt on the Red Sea snorkeling, and it wasn’t part of the tour I was told. I hurt my knee and will need an MRI here at home. We were well taken care of and protected. Wondering already about a trip for next year. Is there a discount?

I can’t overstate how extraordinary my Egypt tour is. It is run by the kindest, most considerate, most knowledgeable people. And the experience inside is unreal. The tour guides are all highly educated in their fields and share their passion in their heart and soul. The drivers are so kind and fun to be around. What're more the relationships that all members of this team share with the most interesting people in Egypt open doors that would otherwise remain closed. We saw more than we could have imagined thanks simply to them being who they are. We loved every moment and would only ever use them again.

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our 11-day tour of Egypt and Jordan. This exceeded our expectations by far!!! I especially would like to commend the drivers and guides provided, especially Ahmed and Ibrahim in Egypt and Mohamad in Jordan. They took such good care of us that I will most certainly recommend this trip to my friends. Thank you so much again.

The tour was wonderful. I mean.....so much to learn & so much to see. Beautiful things that I have never thought I would see. I hope I will come back and learn more about it. I felt absolutely safe, and have never felt uncomfortable in any situation whatsoever throughout the tour. Egyptians are so friendly and kind. Top Asia Tour is doing a good job, in fact, a wonderful job! Very personable and very adaptable to what people want to see. They sort of having a sense of what the group is interested in and they focus on those areas.

Just a quick note to say that we had a great time in Egypt and Jordan. These are 2 very amazing countries with very friendly people everywhere we went. The extra camel ride at sunset to the Pyramids was fantastic. A much better view of such a special place.

Top Asia Tour did a great job organizing and structuring my trip to Egypt. I went with 4 of my friends for a 9-day trip, and we were able to completely customize our experience to what we wanted to do and see. Top Asia Tour was extremely accommodating and easy to work with to make our stay enjoyable and carefree. We were taken care of and informed of everything from the moment we entered the airport. I would highly recommend using them for organizing your trip to Egypt. All of the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable in the areas we visited, easy to understand, and friendly. I would like to specifically recommend Mahmoud Hassan to anyone traveling to Luxor or Aswan. He did a great job and was extremely informative, fun, and a pleasure to work with. We even exchanged contact information, and plan to keep in touch. Overall great experience, and highly recommend TAT.

Egypt and Jordan. Spectacular! We felt that we were treated so wonderfully. We were well cared for.

I enjoyed every aspect of my trip. The tour guides knew their history and articulated the historical details of each site that we visited very well. The hotels in which we stayed were clean, spacious, and comfortable. There also was more than enough food for everyone and it tasted good.

I cannot recommend this Egypt tour enough. As a travel destination, Egypt is exciting, interesting, and inspirational- people were friendly and I felt safe the whole time and would happily go back. The tour was organized, and efficient, and while offering autonomy to do your own thing [could make decisions to stay at sites longer]. The itinerary (and guides) made you not want to miss any of the activities.

Words can't describe how wonderful this trip was, but I will give it a try. A true trip of a lifetime! I felt safe and secure (thank you Mohammed and Asham). I learned so much thanks to our guide, Noura. She is incredibly knowledgeable. All transfers from place to place came off without a hitch, thanks to Hany. The tours were well planned. Lily responded in a timely manner before the trip, easing any anxiety I might have had. The optional trips were just perfect on so many levels. I have already recommended Top Asia Tour-Egypt to my friends. Thank you again for making this trip a memory of a lifetime.

From start to finish this tour was very well organised and delivered. We were met by two travel agency staff inside the airport in Cairo to assist us through the customs department and then onto the bus to take us to the hotel where we met up with our experienced Travel Guide. The tours to each and every wonderful sight were full of detail and while I think I already knew a lot about ancient Egypt. Our cruise was the highlight, being able to relax and enjoy the varied scenery along the Nile. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone over 10 yrs old.
Feb 19 ,2020
We accomplished everything we wanted to and more during this trip. The guides all bent over backward to make sure we were happy and completely satisfied. The tour became family and we plan to travel together again. We are already planning a trip back to Egypt.

I traveled with my 12-year-old daughter. The agency made our trip as comfortable as possible. They were always responsive to any questions, feedback, or inquiries; any slight problems we were facing, the agency made sure to address them immediately. The tour guides and drivers in Egypt, Jordan & Israel were like family - prompt, reliable, and thoughtful. We felt safe under their watch. They went above and beyond their call of duty to make sure we were well taken care of. They didn't look at their watches or their designated duties and squabble with our little requests.

What a trip of a lifetime!
An Experience I will never forget. I've been back two weeks and still think about it every day. Our guide, Noura, is probably the reason. She is extremely knowledgeable, but it is her passion for the country, its people, and its wonders that truly brought to life all of the histories this country offers. The entire team, especially Haney was there every step of the way. From our arrival to anything, we needed every minute. Haney always had a smile on his face. The people behind the scenes - Lily and all the rest of the team. I always felt safe and don't think I missed one thing. Egypt will forever be in my heart

Knowledgeable, experienced, knew what the group might need ahead of time, handled lost group members quickly and efficiently, and easy to understand. Assisted everyone with their various post-trip transportation needs - gave us excellent advice on the best way to get to, cross the border, and continue on to Jerusalem with public transportation.

A great itinerary with a couple of weeks could improve the Jordan experience.
May 06 ,2019
Our Best of Egypt, Jordan and Israel tour is an amazing, lifetime experience. Egypt was beyond awesome. This tour far exceeded all our expectations and was thoroughly enjoyable in every aspect. There were absolutely no hitches or setbacks for the entire duration of the tour starting in Cairo and ending in Tel Aviv. It was smooth sailing from beginning to end. Representatives from the company promptly met us on arrival and assisted us all the way through from acquiring our visas to welcoming us to the hotel and briefing us accordingly. Likewise, similar courtesies were also extended to us through Jordan and Israel by their resident tour companies. All internal flight arrangements were also expertly handled. The 4 day Nile River cruise on the Sonesta Star Goddess was awe-inspiring. Similarly thanks to those staff who were excellent in leading us through Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
