Day 1 Arrival Beijing

Beijing, as the capital city, the political and economic center of China, will be your first stop of this wonderful China trip. Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our professional guide will meet you at the exit of the airport and arrange the transfer from airport to your hotel. The local guide will help you with the hotel check-in. Then you will have enough to have a good rest to overcome the jet lag.

Day 2 Beijing

Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Temple of Heaven, Panjiayuan Antique Market

The local guide will meet you at the hotel lobby in the morning to start the exploration of this historical city. The first stop should be the famous Tian'anmen square. It is the largest public square in the world. Next go to visit the city highlight: Forbidden city, which is just behind Tian'anmen Tower, has only the walking distance from the square to Forbidden City. It is the best-preserved and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. After about 2 hours visit to explore in the palace, we will walk out from the Gate of Devine Might. Walk across Jingshan Qian Jie, we will arrive at Jingshan Park. It is really a place to have a panoramic view of the Forbidden City from the top of Coal Hill in the park.

An authentic Chinese lunch will be arranged at a hand-picked local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will move to Temple of Heaven, another must-see spot in Beijing. It was used to pray for good harvest by the emperors in the ancient time. You will also enjoy a shopping time at Panjiayuan Antique Market and a local tea store before you are transferred back to hotel. If you would like to experience more today, you could try the Peking roast duck with the suggestion from your local guide.

Day 3 Beijing

Mutianyu Great Wall, Olympic Park, the exterior of Bird Nest and Water Cube

Great Wall is really a must-visit spot when you visit to Beijing. Today we will  go to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. It is now more popular in foreign visitors than Badaling Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best preserved great walls in China. Our guide will leave you enough to visit it. Lunch will be arranged at a Chinese restaurant at the foot of the mountain. In the afternoon, We will drive another 1.5 hours back to downtown of Beijing and have a stop at jade store. Then we will have a stop at Beijing Olympic Games, taking some photoes of Bird Nest and Water Cube from the outside. Tour will end by dropping you off at the hotel. If you would like to enjoy more, you could discuss with the local guide to get more suggestions, such like, information about night bar streets or some night shows, etc.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an

Hutong Tour by rickshaw, Summer Palace, Take high speed train to Xi'an

After a leisure hotel breakfast, our local guide will pick you up and help you with the hotel check-out. Then move to explore Beijing's local lifestyle by taking a rickshaw to visit the Beijing Hutong area, which can not be missed also. Then we will visit the Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in China. A lunch will be arranged on the way to Beijing Xi Railway Station (West Railway Station). Take a 5-hour high-speed train to Xi'an, the 2nd stop of this trip, another must-go destination in China as a historic and cultural city. The local guide is waiting for you at the Xian Beijing Railway Station (North Railway Station) and picks you up to hotel.

Day 5 Xi'an

Terracotta Warriors, Tangbo Art Museum, Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter

It is an exciting day today to explore this ancient city. Firstly we will drive from downtown for 1.5 hours to Terracotta Warriors this morning. It is the highlight of today as an important archaeological wonder in the world. We will arrange you to take a shuttle bus in the scenic area to make you a worry-free trip. Then we will visit a pottery figurine factory. You have a chance to learn how a pottery figurine is worked out. A Chinese lunch is arranged at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, we will drive back. To experience more Chinese culture, Tang Bo Art Museum is definitely a good place, where you not only have a brief history and examples of Chinese art but also practice writing a couple of Chinese characters or Chinese painting. Then we will move to the Bell Tower area and have a walk around Muslim Quarter before transfer back to the hotel. Tang Dynasty Show is highly recommended as an optional night activity.

Day 6 Xi'an - Shanghai

Ancient City Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda and north square, Hanyang Mausoleum, Fly to Shanghai

After a leisure breakfast, we will check out from the hotel this morning. Our local guide will lead you to experience a leisure city tour before departure. Ancient City Wall is another highlight in Xi'an. It witnesses the development of this old city. It represents one of the oldest and best-preserved city walls in China. Bicycle and sightseeing car are optional ways to visit the wall. Then we will move to Big Wild Goose Pagoda and see it from Yanta North Plaza. A typical Xian lunch is arranged before driving to the airport. Before boarding the flight, we will visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, which is the largest museum with the largest floor space in China. Upon arriving at Shanghai, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 7 Shanghai

Jade Buddha Temple, the exterior of Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai Old Street, The Bund

Shanghai, the metropolis of China, compared to the 2 historical and cultural cities, shows you the modern aspect of China. Local guide picks you up from hotel lobby, firstly go to visit Jade Buddha Temple. it is famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, and said to weigh 1, 000 kg. Then we will have a stop at silk museum before lunch. In the afternoon, we will a Chinese typical garden in downtown. That is Yuyuan Garden. Enjoy your shopping time at the nearby Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road. It is a good time to choose some special souvenirs before departure from China. Then we will have a leisure walk along the Bund, from which you will also have a view of the skyscrapers on the opposite of Huangpu River, like the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, etc. WE will drop you off after the tour. Shanghai Acrobatic Show is famous so it is highly recommended as an optional night activity if you are interested in.

Great way to see the major sights & experience traditional food & culture.
