Miyajima island

Miyajima Island is also known as Itsukushima Island. It is located in Hiroshima of Japan. Miyajima Island is a must-see attraction when visiting Hiroshima. Brief Introduction

The Yanshima Shrine was built in 593 AD and has been repaired many times. It is about 10 kilometers long from north to south, 3.5 kilometers wide from east to west, and covers an area of 30 square kilometers. The highest peak on the island is 530 meters. It is known as “Island of faith" with the “Isukushima Shrine” listed in the World Cultural Heritage.
