Best Things to Do at Night in Bangkok
Do you feel stressed out all the time and wait for a chance to relieve stress and anxiety? Do you feel a little tired of your life and want to spice up a little bit? The nightlife in Bangkok will satisfy all your imagination. In case you get confused in choosing, We have listed the following best things to do at night in Bangkok.
1. Soi Cowboy (Adults Only)
Soi Cowboy is a short pedestrian-only street in Bangkok, Thailand, an adult entertainment zone with mostly go-go bars. It caters mainly to foreign tourists. In the early 1970s, a cowboy hat-wearing African-American airman T.G 'Cowboy' Edwards opened the first bar here, since then, the street was named Soi Cowboy.
Once you walk in, the enticing red lightings all over the street will penetrate your tiredness. Well, welcome to adult playgrounds! It is hard not to light up your excitement when a row of ladies and ladyboys in skimpy outfits beckoningly waving at you. Just step in a random bar or sit outside and grab a drink. The price of drink varies, but adult shows are similar. Usually, the adult shows include pole dancing, ping pong shows (read more at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ping_pong_show), and lesbian make out show, and so on. Sex industry is legal here, so you may want to take out someone to have a one-night stand.
Besides Soi Cowboy, Patpong and Nana Plaze are another two of Bangkok's largest and most popular red light districts. Feel free to explore them if time is available. I would high recommend Soi Cowboy since it has ranked #1 among these three for years.

2. Beam Nightclub
Unlike most of the nightclubs with too many drinking tables and limited dancing space in Bangkok, Beam nightclub gives you enough space to dance.
Beam nightclub is an upscale nightclub which has international DJs from Europe, Asia and the US who will provide you a unique music experience from your head to your toes. Also, the sound system is first-class without distorted and blasting sound, and you will only have clean and good-quality sensory experience. Once the music starts, you may feel that you are swimming in the ocean. Like the music program, their cocktail program is more high-end than the norm since the mixologists are all skillful. Also, the whole lighting and visual design is cool, relatively dark, and deep with smoke – it is going to be a proper dance club opposite to a disco you normally see in Bangkok.
Opening Hours: Wed - Sat 20:00 - 03:00
Address: 72 Courtyard Mall, Thonglor (Sukhumvit Soi 55)

3. Demo & Funky Villa Nightclub
Ready to shake it off and let go of negativity? Demo & Funky Villa welcomes you! Compared with Beam Nightclub above, Demo & Funky Villa is a little bit financially approachable for everyone who wants to go crazy at night. The price is not cheap but reasonable. The lighting is more vibrant and warm. It is more street and hip-pop with walls covered in graffiti. The two nightclubs are connected, so guests are free to move between the two to experience different vibes and music. Also, the live music is really good. It really suits party moods.
Opening Hours: 19:00 – 02:00
Address: Thong Lor Soi 10 (look for the bright lights of Funky Villa, set 30 metres back from the road on the far side of a car park)

4. The Iron Fairies Bar
Want to tone down a little bit? If you are looking for a quiet and artistic place for a deep conversation or to space out, well, the Iron Fairies Bar will be your best choice. The Iron Fairies is a magical bar inspired by the world depicted in Australian designer Ashley Sutton's fairytale, "The Iron Fairies". Built almost entirely from iron and wood, the bar and a blacksmith's shop are so alike. What a gorgeous design! Guests can enjoy musical performances by two jazz bands each night.
The lighting is a little dim but warm, it comforts every vulnerable sleepless soul. It is quite enjoyable when you close your eyes, do some meditations, or simply just zone out. You will feel refreshing after you relax this way. With live music and cocktails, It is also a great place and time to confess to someone you love.

5. Octave Rooftop Bar
Speaking of confessing to someone you love, I couldn't find a place more romantic than Octave Rooftop Bar. Octave Bangkok is one of the highest and the best buildings in Bangkok. From the Octave Rooftop Bar you could overlook Bangkok with 360-degree view. The view is breathtaking and stunning, but the price is reasonable. I'd highly recommend you to come here early to watch the sunset then start a romantic meal, and later, watch the city at the midnight with a glass of wine. It is also a really good place to celebrate anniversary.
