Lake Ugii

Lake Ugii is a freshwater lake located in the east of Arkhangai Province, Mongolia. It is listed in the Convention on Wetlands of Importance Especially as Waterfowl Habitat, which is an important wetland in Mongolia. Lake Ugii is also called Lake Ogii or Ogiin Nuur. It is famous for the fishes and birds in the lake. Though the average depth of Lake Ugii is more than 6 meters, the depth of half of the lake is less than 3 meters. Unlike the Lake Khovsgol, Lake Ugii is not very deep. Lake Ugii is more than 1330 meters above sea level.
