Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan is a picturesque freshwater lake situated in the Khorgo, Arkhangai Province, Mongolia. It is also known as Great White Lake because this lake is covered by ice most of the time. The lake is about 16 kilometers long and 4 to 6 kilometers wide. It is surrounded by rolling mountains, which is about 3,000 meters above sea level. Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan provides clear water, jagged rocks, green steppes and spectacular mountains.
