1. My Khe Beach

The nearest My Khe Beach to the city centre is one of the liveliest places in Da Nang, with fresh air and pleasant scenery. Meixi Beach is 900 meters long and there are many seafood restaurants around. My Khe Beach was named one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world by Forbes Magazine. It is estimated based on the softness of the beach, the convenience of transportation, the surrounding resort facilities and sunshine, the size of the beach, the type of water activities and other factors.

2. Da Nang Cathedral

This candy-like pink building is almost a symbol of Da Nang and the largest Western church in central Vietnam. The Da Nang Cathedral is marked by a weathervane on its tall bell tower and is also known as the Rooster Church. The painted large glass windows in the medieval style contrast with the pink exterior, which is bright and lovely. There is a mass on Sunday, you can go in and visit. Next to the church is a St. Paul's convent with more than 100 nuns. They wear white clothes in the summer and black clothes in the winter.

3. Nui Son Tra

The Nui Son Tra, also known as Son Tra Mountain or Monkey Mountain, is a fascinating national park located on the northeastern side of Da Nang, about 13 kilometers from the city center. The peninsula is in the middle of the port of Da Nang, creating a natural screen seal for the typhoon. It was once an important radar and communication base during the American-Vietnam War. It now has a large area of native forest and a pleasant view. The most prominent attraction of Son Tra peninsula is the Linh Ung Pagoda located on the southern side of the mountain. In the temple, there is a 65-meter tall white jade Guanyin bodhisattva in southeast Asia, which is the tallest statue in Vietnam. Linh Ung Pagoda on the peninsula is the perfect vantage point for a panoramic view of Da Nang.

4. Ba Na Hills

The Ba Na Hills has always been a popular tourist destination and summer resort in Vietnam. The European-style architecture of the French period on the mountain, together with the break taking natural scenery of Ba Na Hills, is so attractive that it is called "heaven on earth". The biggest highlight of Ba Na hills is the Golden Bridge (also known as the Buddha Hand Bridge), which was opened in July 2018. In a short period of time, it attracted a large number of tourists, and foreign media listed it as one of the world's top 20 or top ten beautiful scenery, it is worth a visit. 5. Museum of Cham Sculpture

The Cham Sculpture Museum was built in 1915 that preserves Champa stone carvings and pottery carvings of 7th-15th century containing nearly a thousand fine art pieces. These complex carved sandstone cultural relics are artifacts unearthed from various parts of Vietnam and are worth a special trip to visit Da Nang. It is said that the shape of The Cham Sculpture Museum is similar to the style of the Cham Tower style, and the exterior wall is painted yellow, making it more conspicuous in the downtown area. The building has been expanded twice to attract a large number of tourists.

6. Marble Mountains

Marble Mountain is located 10 kilometers southeast of the city of Da Nang. On the flat beach by the sea, the five peaks of gold, wood, water, fire and earth (the Mt. fire is a double peak) rises from the ground, and the momentum is magnificent, hence get its name Five Elements Mountain.

Among the five mountains, the largest and highest one is the water mountain. Most of naturally formed caves in the water mountain are equipped with Buddha statues, such as Buddha and Guanyin, and believers come to worship all the year round.

7. Hoi An Old Town

The ancient city of Hoi An is about 30 kilometers from downtown Da Nang. It is a well-preserved traditional trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th to the 19th century. There are complete Chinese-inhabited streets in the ancient city, and Fujian Assembly Hall, Cantonese Assembly Hall, Chaozhou Assembly Hall and China Assembly Hall are also built. The ancient buildings and ancient streets that have been preserved today reflect the organic integration of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese culture and architectural style. Hoi An Old Town was very extremely beautiful at night, turning into a world of lanterns. Lanterns of various colors and shapes hang high and illuminate the whole street.
