Day 2 Luang Prabang
Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, Wat Xiengthong, Royal Palace Museum, Wat Mai

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession. Stop and visit fresh local markets and back to hotel for breakfast.
This morning, depart to visit Wat Visoun, the site of impressive Thad Makmo stupa. The Continue to visit Wat Aham. Then, visit to the most photographed temple, Wat Xiengthong. Located at the end of peninsular closed to the confluence of Mekong and Khan River.
This afternoon, continue to former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Visit Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief. During Pimai, the Lao New Year, the Prabang normally housed in the Royal Palace Museum is brought and put on public display in this temple.

Day 3 Luang Prabang
Elephant Village, Village visit, Kuang Si Waterfall

This morning, you will be driven to the Elephant Village, a center with a focus on the protection and rehabilitation of elephants in Laos. Upon arrival you will meet the camp manager and hear about the work carried out by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers in caring for the elephants. Next, elephant riding for a jungle walk. (25 minutes – 1 person per elephant)
This afternoon, travelling outskirt of Luang prabang, driving through green rice paddies and farms. Stop for visit few villages of H’mong and Lao loum people, your guide can introduce you to local people and its great opportunity for you to involving with their daily activities such as wooden cotton spinning, weaving, rice harvesting and green vegetable farms. On your arrival at the Kuang Si Fall, enjoy your short walking on trails of falls to visit the bear rescued center and enjoy front main waterfalls with spectacular views and surrounding of orchids inside the park and falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. Driver back to Luang Prabang.

Ban Nayang Village, Nam park market, Pa Thok Cave

This morning, drive to Nong Khiew. Stop to visit Ban Nayang Village and Nam park market. Arrival in Nong Khiew. Lunch on your own. Visit Pa Thok Cave. Then embark on boat to Ban Sojam. Walking to visit this village then continue your cruise to Muong Ngoy. Arrival and check-in guesthouse in Muong Ngoy.

Day 5 Muang Ngoy-Luang Prabang
Pak Ou Caves, back to Luang Prabang

After breakfast, walking to visit some local villages before embarking on boat to cruise back Nong Khiew. Drive from Nong Khiew to Luang Prabang. Visit Pak Ou Caves at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. In these 2 caves are displayed hundreds of sacred centuries-old Buddha images which are the object of pilgrimages during the Lao New Year festivities around mid-April. Heading to Luang Prabang for overnight.

Day 6 Luang Prabang-Vang Vieng
Drive to Vang Vieng, Nam Song

After breakfast, drive to Vang Vieng, drive passes through splendid scenery and past many panoramic lookout points on the winding mountaintop road. There are several stops en route to take photos in the scenery. Arrive in Vang Vieng and descending the Nam Song by long tail boat leads us through idyllic scenes of rural life: a unique sight with the limestone mountain in the background.

Day 7 Vang Vieng-Vientiane
Tham Jang Cave, drive to Vientiane, Wat Sisaket, The Golden Temple of Pha That Luang, Victory Monument

After breakfast, heading to Tham Jang cave 172 steps where you can see the spectacular views of the city and the landscape.
Then drive to Vientiane, about 4 hours from the capital. Arriving in Vientiane, you will visit Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues. The huge golden temple of Pha That Luang is respected as holy pagoda by all Lao citizens.
Vientiane's own Victory Monument, which looks like the Arc de Triumph. This was built at the end of the Indochina wars with money rumored to be American, and earmarked for the airport's new runway. Thus the departing Americans dubbed this monument the vertical runway! Have a look at the lovely arches inside the monument.

It was the third tour with TopAsiaTour & once again the whole tour was amazing. Guides as usual were extremely knowledgeable, and helpful & nothing too much trouble. The whole itinerary from start to finish was very full-on, varied, and interesting having the whole group involved at some time. We were also given s in each country. Every day brought a new highlight & experience.

When I was researching potential tours of Southeast Asia, I was looking for Thailand (Bangkok and Chiang Mai specifically) and Cambodia (Siem Reap/Angkor Wat specifically). The other destinations on this tour were just added bonuses. I am so happy that I chose this tour; it took me to places that I have never gone to -- like Luang Prabang which I had never heard of -- even though I consider myself to be a savvy traveler. I am happy that I went to Vietnam to learn about that country's perspective on history and to marvel at the beauty of Halong Bay. This particular tour offered the right mix of culture, history, escorted adventure, and individual discovery. I highly recommend it

A well-planned tour took in some excellent places and sights. Hotels were to the standard expected, and some exceeded. Our tour guide, York, was superb - very knowledgeable, informative with a great sense of humour. Would certainly recommend Top Asia Tour

It is my first time visit to Laos, and have enjoyed our trip so much. Many thanks to our guide Ms Noy, who can speak good English, had been very understanding and patient, also providing excellent support and services to our needs. We really loved Thailand and Laos, the accommodation was great and the trips excellent as were both our guides the only reason for not giving 5 stars is because when we arrived in Bangkok early morning after a sleepless flight we were told our room would not be ready till 2pm. We were exhausted but had to wait in the reception for 4-5 hrs even though the hotel was half empty due to coronavirus. We did understand that is hotel's regulation. I would just like to say that our guide Ken was exceptional. He helped us to communicate with the hotel and let us check in around 10 a.m. He also would not leave us until we were at the airport with tickets in hand. I really do hope that you recognise his dedication and professionalism.

Just what I expected. Another excellent trip. A few minor things to work out in the itinerary and activities but I'd have never done the types of things and understood so much about the people and the culture.

This is an action packed adventure tour that goes off the beaten track to experience the people and culture of Laos and Cambodia. The support vehicle is peace of mind and always there if you need it. We enjoyed a couple of unique experiences away from the crowds that were real highlights of travelling with this tour operator.

From when our guide picked us up at Bangkok until we left Laos the holiday was well organized and with a good range of activities. The guides were very knowledgeable. The only drawback to the holiday was that being vegetarian we seem to have well-cooked but rather bland tasting dishes. Eating at different restaurants meant that we quite often had similar dishes throughout the holiday.

We loved the full itinerary with York throwing in a few little extras like stopping in a field to watch the farmers harvesting rice and thenbeing offered a chance to have a go. Good vallue for money with so much packed into the itinerary and good flights
