Day 1 Arrival Siem Reap, Angkor Complex
Transfer to hotel, Tuk tuk tour:Angkor Wat, Angkor Sunset
Meals: Lunch
Overnight: In Siem Reap
Arrive in Siem Reap in the morning and transfer to the gathering hotel by our driver, then followed by a welcome lunch. Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor and we will have five days to enjoy the town and its surroundings.
In the afternoon we will begin to explore the complex of Angkor Wat, the world's wonder. We will go to the temples by tuk-tuk, our famous local transport. The wall of Angkor Wat surrounded by the enclosure measures 1,000 by 800 meters and the moat. This amazing temple homes the longest continuous bas relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls. End of today, we will ride elephants to the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng, climb the imposing remains and meet the crowd for a truly memorable sunset.
Day 2 Angkor Complex (30 km, full day cycling)
Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, the Big Circuit
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: In Siem Reap
After breakfast, we will ride our bicycles to the temples complex where we'll first stop at the jungle temple of Ta Prohm. It has been largely consumed by the jungle and as you will climb through the dilapidated stone structures you will see many giant trees growing out of the top of the temple itself. At every turn, you will expect to see Indiana Jones or Lara Croft step out from behind a fallen pillar. Ta Phrom looks as many of the monuments did when European explorers first laid eyes on them. Afterward, we will continue to bike through the Victory gate to reach the royal city of Angkor Thom. Our visit will begin with the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of Leper King. We will continue to the Bayon, a pyramid temple decorated with about 200 gigantic carved heads. Then, we will have lunch in one of the local restaurants around the temple, and in the afternoon, we will continue to bike along the “grand circuit” to see more temples of the Angkor Era, such as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup and, if we still have time, Banteay Kdei.
Day 3 Banteay Srey (75 km cycling)
Banteay Srei & Landmine Museum and Rehabilitation Centre
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: In Siem Reap
After breakfast, we will enjoy cycling to Angkor 35km through the countryside to Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of women, decorated with superbly intricate reliefs of male and female divinities. On the way, we will cycle through the picturesque countryside and will pass over some small villages. We will have lunch near the temple, in a local restaurant. On the way back, we will stop at the Cambodian Landmine Museum and Rehabilitation Centre which promotes mine awareness and education to people. Then we will cycle back to the hotel and you will have time to relax by the swimming pool and rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4 Siem Reap Countryside (40km cycling)
Sangkheum Center for Children, Western Baray, the ruins of the western Mebon, Buddhist temple Svay Romeat
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: In Siem Reap
In the morning, we will follow some small bucolic roads west of Siem Reap, toward Puok village. We will cycle through the countryside and cross villages before we reach the Sangkheum Center for Children, an NGO which provides a home for orphaned, abused, or neglected children, as well as general education and selected vocational training. We will visit the center to learn more about their work and see the children in training in the workshops. Afterward, we will go to the Western Baray, an ancient reservoir. This artificial lake is now a recreational place for the locals who flock here on the weekend. We will have lunch in this lovely place and spend a part of the afternoon swimming and tubing or on a boat trip to the island to visit the ruins of the western Mebon. On the way back, we will stop at the small village of Banteay Chreu to visit the popular Buddhist temple Svay Romeat from where we can have a whole view of the surrounding countryside. Then cycle back to town.
Day 5 Tonle Sap Lake (30km cycling)
Lake Tonle Sap, Krou Sa Richreay orphanage, Transfer to airport or bus station
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, we will cycle along the Siem Reap River to a rural village where we will enjoy a short oxcart journey. Then, we will cycle to the Tonle Sap, the biggest lake in Southeast Asia. We will take a boat ride, passing through the floating villages. During the boat trip, we will stop to visit a bird garden and a fishing farm. On the way back we will stop at the Krou Sa Richreay Orphanage, which means "Happy Family", to bring them some basic needs, and then we will return to the hotel for check-out. Free afternoon to explore Siem Reap on your own before transferring to the airport or bus station.

An interesting insight into the history and culture of Cambodia and Vietnam which was full-on from beginning to end. Both of our guides were informative and helpful.
We would have preferred a little more free time to explore ourselves and particularly the chance to have chosen our own restaurant on a couple of evenings as the lunches and dinners quickly became very repetitive and rather bland having clearly been toned down to the point where we didn't really feel that we had experienced the local cuisine.
Halong Bay was stunning and the boat and crew were excellent but we had expected more cruising and so would have preferred to spend a second night on board.
The hotels were generally of a good standard although those in Hue and Hoi An dropped below this level (a hotel with no bar!)

This was a really good tour, well planned, with good information beforehand, meet and greet worked well, and guides were first class. In the time available, we hit as many of the high spots in Cambodia and Vietnam as can be experienced at a reasonable pace.

It was the third tour with TopAsiaTour & once again the whole tour was amazing. Guides as usual were extremely knowledgeable, and helpful & nothing too much trouble. The whole itinerary from start to finish was very full-on, varied, and interesting having the whole group involved at some time. We were also given s in each country. Every day brought a new highlight & experience.

Angkor was amazing and Cambodia very interesting. Most of the places in Vietnam were very good and Halong Bay spectacular. The tour was well organised and the guides very friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the hotels were excellant but some could have been better, but, they were all clean well looked after and in very good locations. The food was generally very good except for the odd occasion and at times a bit too much of the same quisine but to be fair we did have some different meals offered on the tour.

My husband and I enquired about the tour's in Cambodia. One of them stood out for both of us. We went through everything and we decided to go ahead and book. The process was simple. Everything was done within a few minutes. Can't wait to go to Cambodia.
Thank you for all your help.

Well-organized, varied tour. Hotels and restaurants were excellent. We traveled in a comfortable air-conditioned coach with a skilled and careful driver. The tour guide Mr. Vuttha Dam was first class and spoke excellent English, coping well with UK and Australian accents and dialects. He was kind, considerate, and very knowledgeable. Giving factual information as well as personal experience of growing up and living in Cambodia.

A great overall trip, we were able to see the countries and learn a lot of the history in the areas. The highlights for me were the personal encounters with the local people and being able to see how they live.

When I was researching potential tours of Southeast Asia, I was looking for Thailand (Bangkok and Chiang Mai specifically) and Cambodia (Siem Reap/Angkor Wat specifically). The other destinations on this tour were just added bonuses. I am so happy that I chose this tour; it took me to places that I have never gone to -- like Luang Prabang which I had never heard of -- even though I consider myself to be a savvy traveler. I am happy that I went to Vietnam to learn about that country's perspective on history and to marvel at the beauty of Halong Bay. This particular tour offered the right mix of culture, history, escorted adventure, and individual discovery. I highly recommend it

Our 8-day trip with Top Asia Tour to Cambodia was amazing. Savy our tour guide took us to Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and Elephant Terrace, Angkor Wat. All Temples were remarkable. Banteay Srei Temples, Ta Prohm Temple (where Tomb Raider was filmed) and Ta Keo Temple. All were incredible sights to experience. Toured a bit of Cambodia as we went to the Tonle Sap Lake to Battambang and to Phnom Penh. We also enjoy our time in Vietnam for 7 days from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, which went smoothly and enjoyable. I’m Appreciative to Top Asia Tour for putting this trip together for us to enjoy

This is an action packed adventure tour that goes off the beaten track to experience the people and culture of Laos and Cambodia. The support vehicle is peace of mind and always there if you need it. We enjoyed a couple of unique experiences away from the crowds that were real highlights of travelling with this tour operator.

We had an amazing tour guide, Jenny, who had a fantastic knowledge of the country and made sure that we were able to enjoy every aspect of the tour. She was supported by a brilliant driver who transported us to all parts of the country in a very safe manner.
The tour provided a great balance of the major tourist sites together with the chance to see local people running their businesses and glimpsing how they lived.

Tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to help. Good itinerary although some long drives on poor roads to see very little. Sihanoukville is a building site and lots of noise by the hotel so not the relaxing beautiful beach day expected although I appreciate Top Asia Tour have no control over this.

The whole holiday went very well. The flight was very good and we had no problem changing in Hanoi to fly on to Siem Rep. We were met at the airport and taken to our hotel.
The guides in Cambodia and Vietnam were both excellent. Tidily dressed, spoke clearly and obviously knowledgeable.
The content of the tours was as described and was well organised. We all had a great time with Top Asia Tour.
