Enjoy leisure breakfast at the hotel, then depart from your hotel to visit Tian'anmen Square, which is regarded as the largest urban square in the world. And then we will step into the Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. You will enjoy local food as your lunch today. In the afternoon, we will go to visit the Temple of Heaven. It was a place in ancient times for emperors or royal families to pray for a nationally good harvest. We will stop at a pearl store before backing to the hotel. Peking Opera is available for your optional night entertainment if you are interested in it.

In the morning, drive from downtown to Huairou District to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall first. You will enjoy 2 hours or more time visiting or hiking on the famous great wall. Round-way cable car or toboggan can be your options for up and down the mountain. Lunch will be arranged at a restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. On the way back to downtown, we will have a photo stop outside the Bird Nest and Water Cube. You will also have a chance to have a cup of tea in a tea house before driving back to the hotel. Peking Roasted Duck is available for your optional dinner to experience the local specialty.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an
Summer Palace, Take high-speed train to Xi'an

Check out from your hotel in the morning, and then visit the Summer Palace, a famous royal garden. Lunch is arranged at a restaurant on the way to Beijing West Railway Station. From the station, you will catch a high-speed train from Xian, the famous historical destination in China. Upon arriving at Xian, you will be met and transferred to the hotel by your local guide.

It will be an exciting day to explore the history and culture of China by a visit to Terracotta Warriors in the morning - one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Then you will have a chance to visit the pottery figurine factory, where you can learn how to make a pottery figurine. After lunch drives back to Xian downtown, climb up to the Ancient Xian City Wall, where you could choose to visit on foot, by biking or rickshaw ( the extra fee for biking and rickshaw on your own expense). Then leisure walks in Small Wild Goose Pagoda and strolls around Muslim Street and surroundings.

It affords us a window into Tibetan culture and an opportunity to buy colorful ethnic handicrafts which rarely seen outside of Tibet.

After breakfast, enjoy your one more day city tour in Lhasa today. With the hotel pick-up service, our local Tibetan tour guide will bring you to visit another famous temple. That is Drepung Monastery, which is one of the three great monasteries in Tibet. And then we continue to visit Norbulingka, it is said the largest traditional garden in Tibet. It is just like the "Summer Palace" in Lhasa. In the afternoon, we will go to Sera Monastery, which you will have chance to watch monks debating in the courtyard. Free time on your own arrangement after tour.

Depart from your hotel in the morning, you will then enjoy a whole-day trip of Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding - the world-famous Panda breeding research located about 10km (6 miles) out of the city. In the afternoon, visit Chengdu People's Park, where you can have some interesting experiences, like drinking tea in the tea house, seeing locals playing cards/Mahjong, singing & dancing, etc. Then walk around Jinli Old Street before transfer back to the hotel. For an optional activity tonight, how about taste the Hot Pot in Sichuan Style.

Leisure breakfast in your hotel, we will start today's trip with a hotel pick-up. A trip to visit Sichuan Cuisine Museum is arranged this morning. At the Museum, you will not only realize the history of Sichuan Cuisine but also have a chance to watch the whole procedure of cooking and practice cooking Sichuan food. Then be transferred to the airport to board the domestic flight to Shanghai.

The last day but still an inspiring day to explore the city of Shanghai,the largest and most modern city in mainland China. We will start the tour by a short trip to Yuyuan Garden, a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. And then we will enjoy a Chinese tea ceremony at nearby tea house. After that, we will walk to visit Confucius Temple, which is not far from Yuyuan Garden. Before lunch, walk along the Bund, admiring the illuminated buildings lining the Huangpu River. From the Bund, Multinational Classic Buildings Complex, you could see the landmark of Shanghai--- The Oriental Pearl TV Tower as well as other high-rised buildings from the Bund.
A Chinese lunch is arranged for you at a local restaurant, and then drive to visit Xintiandi & Former French Concession, to enjoy the traditional Shanghai architecture like Shikumen. Then we will visit Jade Buddha Temple, one of the Shanghai must-see attractions, and till now. It is still an active one with 70 resident monks at last count. In order to make it convenient for the adherents to visit, it was bodily moved to Shanghai City at the present sire in 1918. Then you will have a chance to visit the Silk Museum where you will how silk is produced. Then our group will drive by Shanghai People's Square to visit the Shanghai Museum, a large museum of ancient Chinese art and just sited on the People's Square of Shanghai. Then the tour is finished by a drop-off at your hotel. In the evening, how about enjoy a breathtaking Acrobatic Show as your optional night entertainment.

Great way to see the major sights & experience traditional food & culture.
