Pokhara Guide

Pokhara is located in central Nepal and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal, known as "Little Switzerland in the East". The climate is a tropical marine monsoon climate, with obvious dry season and rainy season. Pokhara was originally a place of residence for the Neva and Gulun people. The local people were mainly agricultural. It was not until 1970 that the roads were opened, and then tourism began to emerge. The local area is mainly Buddhism and Hinduism. The temple worth visiting is the Varasi Hindu Temple in the heart of Phewa Lake. Pokhara is famous for Phewa Lake, Mt Annapyrna and Mt Fishtail. In Pokhara, accommodation is divided into two areas, one is the Lake side, the other is the Dam side. Airplanes and buses are the main way for Pokhara to contact external traffic.
