Countries not mentioned can enter Malaysia without visa. (Israel is prohibited to enter Malaysia. )

 

 

E-Visa

Nationals from the following countries are eligible to apply the e-visa into Malaysia: China, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Serbia and Montenegro.

 

Please note:

  • The e-visa is valid for 3 months and can not be extended.
  • Your e-visa should be printed out in an A4-sized format according to the e-visa e-mailed back from the Immigration Department of Malaysia or the Malaysian Representative that you applied from.
  • Your e-visa is a important document for you, please keep your e-visa.
  • You will be required to produce your e-visa at all entry checkpoints into Malaysia.

 

To apply the e-visa to Malaysia, you just need to look through the website of the Immigration Department of Malaysia, follow the steps to apply for the e-visa and wait for the email from the Immigration Department of Malaysia or the Malaysian Representative that you applied from. Please pay attention to your inbox since you will be contacted by e-mail.

 

 

Visa on Arrival

From December 1st , 2023 to December 31st, 2024, e-visa is not required for China and India nationals only traveling to Malaysia for the tour purposes.

Visa on Arrival only applies to the citizens of India and China.

 

 

Malaysia Entry Requirements

  • Visa(For the Countries that require Visa to enter)
  • Hold the travel ticket to home country, residence or third country and have enough fees to pay for the expenses during the travel in Malaysia(determined by the Immigration Officer at the entrance).
  • Not belonging to a Prohibited Immigrant under Section 8 (3) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
  • Not included in the Fake List of Immigration Department of Malaysia.
  • Have Passport or Travel Documents issued to it and still occur.

 

 

Visa Extension

Extension will be given consideration in the event of exigent circumstances such as illness, an accident, war in originating country etc. The visitor is required to produce evidence as well as an authentic and valid return ticket to their originating country or to a third country.
