Day 1 Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Cairo, the capital of Egypt! Upon arrival, you will clear customs with the help of our representative. Your private driver will be waiting at the passenger pick up. It will take an hour to drive from the airport to your hotel. Check into your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Cairo

The Step Pyramid of Saqqara, the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx,

Today, drive to Memphis first to visit this ancient capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Then, see the Step Pyramid of Saqqara. 

Finally is the highlight of the day. You'll explore the most iconic sights of Egypt - the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, which have stood for over 4500 years. For an additional charge, you may be able to go inside the Grand Pyramids.

Day 3 Cairo

Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Salah El-Din, Muhammad Ali Mosque, Khan El Khalili Bazaar

This morning step into the Egyptian Museum. Through and plenty of cultural relics, the huge statues, the gleaming jewelry, you can imagine the glory of the pharaoh. Later, proceed to Old Cairo to visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din and the Muhammad Ali Mosque. After that blend into the bustle of Khan El Khalili Bazaar to feel the flavor of local life.

Day 4 Cairo - Aswan by flight, Nile River Cruise

Fly to Aswan, embarking cruise, High Dam and the Temple of Philae, Egyptian Felucca

After breakfast, you will fly to Aswan and then be transferred to embark on your boat. After settling into your cabin, disembark for a guided trip to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae. Later in the afternoon, you will take an Egyptian Felucca to sail on the Nile, passing by the Elephantine Island, and step ashore the Botanical Gardens on the Kitchener Island.

Day 5 Nile Cruise

Greco-Roman Sobek Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Temple of Horus

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 
Hotel: On the Nile Cruise

 

Today is your second day of Nile Cruise. You will have a shore excursion to the Greco-Roman Sobek Temple when sailing through Kom Ombo. The ship will stop at Edfu, where you can visit the Temple of Horus (also known as the Temple of Edfu).

Day 6 Nile Cruise

Luxor: Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The ship will continue to cruise to Luxor. Upon arrival disembark to the west bank for a shore excursion. The tour concludes the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens and the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. On the way, you can stop and take nice pictures with the huge Colossi of Memnon.

Day 7 Luxor - Cairo by flight

The Temples of Karnak and Luxor Temple, fly to Cairo, pick up to hotel

This morning you will visit two famed temples in Luxor, the Temples of Karnak and Luxor Temple. Both of them are situated on the east bank of Nile and connected by Avenue of Sphinx. Your private guide will lead you to pass through the most important parts of the temples. After the tour, catch your flight to Cairo for overnight.

Day 8 Cairo - Amman - Jerash - Amman

Fly to Amman, Jerash tour:Roman ruins, Citadel, the Roman Theater, the Archeological Museum and the Folklore Museum.

This morning you will depart from Egypt to Amman, the capital of Jordan. Upon arrival you will clear customs with the help of our representative and then be escorted to your hotel by your private driver. After a short break, start your exploration to Jerash, where you can see the well-preserved Roman ruins. Return to the city downtown and continue your tour to the Citadel, the Roman Theater, the Archeological Museum and the Folklore Museum.

Day 9 Amman - Madaba - Petra

Madaba: St. George Church, Mt. Nebo,Jordanian handicraft, drive to Petra

Today you will depart for Petra. During the road, make a stop at Madaba for its old mosaic map of the Middle East in the St. George Church. Get a panoramic view of the holy land when passing through the Mt. Nebo. Take a break at a Jordanian handicraft shop. After reaching Petra, check into the hotel and have a good rest.

Day 10 Petra - Dead Sea

Bring your walking shoes for a full-day exploration in Petra, the "Lost City" of Jordan. Petra appeared in Hollywood blockbusters, such as "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and "The Mummy Return".

 

During a 2-hour journey, your private guide will give you the history of its main highlights. The rest of the time is yours to explore on your own. Al Khazneh (The Treasury) will amaze you. Besides that, you will be surrounded by hundreds of Petra buildings, towering temples, exquisite royal tombs, curved Nabatean Theatre (with 3,000 seats), large and small houses, burial rooms, banquet halls, Waterways and reservoirs, bathrooms, huge stairs, cult facilities, arched gates, public buildings and paved streets.

 

After the tour, transfer to Dead Sea (on the Jordan side) where you can get a floating experience and spend a night in there.

Day 11 Dead Sea - Allenby Bridge Border - Jerusalem

This morning, head to the Allenby Bridge (on the Jordanian side). Passing through the border on your own, and then you will meet your private driver on the Israel side. After reaching your hotel in Jerusalem, the remaining time is at your leisure.

Day 12 Jerusalem

The old city of Jerusalem: Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Wailing Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, King David's Tomb

The old city of Jerusalem, the holy city to Christianity, Islam, and Judaism is your destination today. Your tour will begin from the Mount of Olives, passing through the Gethsemane, Wailing Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and then end at the King David's Tomb. After the tour, spend some time exploring this city on your own.

Day 13 Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Jerusalem

drive to Bethlehem: Church of the Nativity, Manger Square,Shepherds Field, Israel Museum, Holocaust Memorial of Yad Vashem, Machane Yehuda Market.

After breakfast drive south to Bethlehem first. See the silver star in the Church of the Nativity marking the birthplace of Jesus, according to the Bible; and appreciate its multitudes of Churches and Chapels afterward. Next, enjoy the hustle and bustle of Manger Square, followed by the  where the angels first announced that Jesus was born.

 

Later, return to Jerusalem and proceed to the Israel Museum in the New City, which houses artifacts relevant to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Moreover, there are two important exhibits you should not miss, including the city model in the Second Temple period and the Dead Sea Scrolls uncovered in Qumran. Finally, visit the Holocaust Memorial of Yad Vashem and explore the famous Machane Yehuda Market.

Day 14 Departure Israel

After breakfast, your private driver will transfer you to Ben Gurion Airport for your home-bound flight. Hope you travel with TAT again!
