Transport in Siem Reap


Siem Reap is about 311 kilometers north of Phnom Penh and only 152 kilometers from the Thai border. You must excite about one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Angkor Wat and Tonlé Sap Lake. The bus route between Siem Reap and other regions and cities is operated by a number of car companies, which are usually parked at a long-distance bus station 3 km away from east of the city centre, where buses to Phnom Penh, Poipet, Battambang are also available.

But if you have enough time and want to enjoy the scenery along the largest natural lake - Tonlé Sap Lake in Cambodia, you can choose this type of travel. There are large ships during the wet season from June to November, and the ride is comfortable. The water level in the dry season is low, and only the boat is operated, and the journey may be painful.

Getting around Siem Reap
